Linda comes from a long line of quilting women and started her first quilt when she was eight years old. She has made almost all her own clothing since she was twelve and has made hundreds of quilts since then. She has won over 300 ribbons from local, national, and international quilting exhibitions. She teaches quilting nationally and internationally and does trunk shows with both quilts and garments.
After many years of being on the quilting scene, she took a judging class from members of AQS and NQA. She was asked by the Mancuso Brothers to judge many of their shows including the Pacific International Quilt Show, the World Quilt and Textile Show and the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Show. She has also been a judge for the Best of Valley Quilt Show and other guilds across the United States.
Linda was a founding member of the Network for Wearable Art and is currently teaching online quilting classes at www.AcademyofQuilting.com. In what spare time remains, she writes really bad poetry, plays flute, piano and guitar, reads voraciously and has taken up watercolors and Zumba classes.
